Fostering Focused Innovation through Candid Collaborations

Hebron Startup Lab is on a mission to help grow 30 high-growth startups within the next 3 years by providing resources and support for young entrepreneurs, hosting events that bring people together to share ideas, and most importantly, promoting a climate of candid collaboration. The goal of the rebrand was to communicate this mission with clarity and to cement its position as a major driver of focused innovation to its student base and beyond.

 

The result of our research revealed that the core competencies of the brand were familiar to its audience. However, its core market had developed trust issues with the brand over a few failed ventures, which was widespread. How do we change the negative narrative of a brand that has already solidified in its target market? How do we highlight and communicate the brand’s strengths and its renewed efforts to foster startup growth?


We tackled these by strategically curating a familiar yet refreshing and honest look and feel. The core values were preserved while the brand took on a more candid representation at every touchpoint.

We extended these ideas of collaboration and growth beyond the look, feel, or messaging into several distinct custom illustrations and 3D renders. Overall, the rebrand left the lab with a comprehensive identity system to stand the test of time.
