Two sides, one powerful connection

We worked with Saleskonnect to create a brand identity system and website that positioned them as the go-to platform for bridging the gap between businesses and salespeople.

Most companies that turn a profit by selling products are always looking for how to do one thing, and if you guessed ‘sell more products’, you’d be right. One major problem, getting more people to buy your products isn’t always easy; in fact, it is especially difficult for small to mid-sized companies. A general solution to this problem would be to set up an affiliate system where a company could pay a percentage of the product sale price to a partner affiliate for each product purchase, but that’s just one-half of the equation. How do you identify people at scale that are willing to help sell your products? how do you establish a secure system that guarantees the safety of the interests of both company and affiliate?

This was the problem that Saleskonnect was created to solve. They are a platform that bridge the gap between company and affiliate, providing a seamless back-and-forth interaction between the two. They protect the interests of the company by connecting them with willing salespeople and protect the interests of the affiliate by ensuring they are duly compensated for the products they sell and giving them the ability to partner with companies of their interests; a win-win. Saleskonnect needed to create a brand that would build trust on both the company and affiliate side.

The Process

A simple question sat at the heart of our approach: How can we build an identity that appeals to both companies and individuals?
We decided to focus on what Saleskonnect was as its core. A ‘bridge’ that connected eager salespeople to companies with products for sale. This insight formed the basis of the saleskonnect brand strategy ‘Two sides, one powerful connection’ and informed the direction of the whole brand identity.

With the foundation in place, we created a unique symbol that emphasized the connections that Saleskonnect creates ‘The konnect Icon’ and was applicable at scale across all facets of the brand identity. We paired the icon with a custom wordmark and created a system that included a rich, modern color palette, typography, and a suite of assets (from illustrations to photography), to ensure that the brand could be flexible and scale as required.

We launched the refreshed identity across Saleskonnect’s website, social channels, and partner materials, with the Konnect Icon as the unifying element. The result: a modern, trustworthy brand that clearly communicates its role as the bridge between companies and affiliates.
